Joint venture agreement
In the year 2000 a joint venture was established between Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi and Te Ataarangi Educational Trust. This is a three-year agreement with the right of renewal for a further three years and subject to review annually.
The agreement provides for further development of Te Ataarangi programmes at under-graduate and post -graduate levels and provides a base for Te Ataarangi to further its tertiary presence.
Again, there has been phenomenal growth in the uptake of Te Ataarangi programmes, which are delivered through satellite sites around the country. EFTs generated currently stand at 600.
